视觉萨利纳斯 worked to combine 和 strengthen several planning activities both citywide 和 in specific districts, bringing these under an overarching umbrella. 视觉萨利纳斯 is ultimately a platform for various city departments 和 community 合作伙伴 to build a cohesive 和 访问ible future vision that inspires 和 makes our community members proud to call Salinas home.
视觉萨利纳斯 was also the backbone to the City-wide bilingual community visioning 和 outreach effort for the Guiding Principles (available in 英语 和 西班牙语) which will shape the City's General Plan Update. Chinatown Revitalization Plan
The Chinatown Revitalization Plan is a coordinated planning effort between the 美高梅官方网站app 和 Chinatown residents, 合作伙伴, 还有企业主. This community-led planning process will continue the revitalization of this critical neighborhood located near Downtown Salinas. 公共艺术s Master Plan

In response to the community’s desire for public art 和 the expansion of opportunities for artists, City Council approved a 公共艺术 Program ordinance in 2017 to establish 和 fund public art. The 公共艺术s Master Plan is a written strategic 10-year plan which supports local artists, artwork 和 secures the possibility of future public art through 2030.
